PERSISTENCE PAYS OFF!
The famous old saying that we all know very well and whose truthfulness we have confirmed many times.
However, it often happens that we forget its importance and give in, giving up on our goals at the first stumble. When we trip and fall, instead of getting up, taking a deep breath, and continuing forward, we often lose the will, motivation, and energy, eventually giving up with the thought, “This is an obstacle I cannot overcome.” But some simple yet wise and effective life lessons, like the one mentioned above, should be highlighted and kept framed like a photograph in a visible place, to motivate and push us in the desired direction at all times.
We all want to be successful, have a good job, have financial security, and live life to the fullest with an abundance of necessary and often unnecessary things. We desire a lot, sometimes too much.
Why we observe Successful People
We observe successful people and their achievements, giving us the impression that they effortlessly navigate through life as if they possess some special, secret formula that they skillfully use in harvesting the fruits of success. We are frustrated with our slow progress or failures and desperately want to obtain that perfect formula at any cost.
Unfortunately, a formula in the true sense of the word does not exist. However, there are virtues that lie within each of us and, if sharpened well enough, can be the foundation for progress and success. One of them is persistence.
Today’s life is fast-paced and demanding, with high boundaries for priorities and endurance. To attain what we desire, we must fight with all our strength. It is not enough to merely wish to reap the delicious fruits of life; it is essential to act physically and mentally with the intention and purpose to attain them.
And most importantly, in the battle for improvement, we must remain consistent and never, under any circumstances, give up.
Remember! Persistence always pays off in the end!
This is not great wisdom or science, but a virtue bestowed upon all of us by God. It is up to each of us to nurture and develop it, and to determine how we will use it for our own progress and achievement of goals. No, we have not just discovered hot water – we are simply reminding you of what our ancestors realized long before us and used as a weapon to clear a thorny path. Read what generations before us thought of this powerful weapon.

- “THE GREATEST RESULTS IN LIFE ARE OFTEN ACHIEVED THROUGH SIMPLE MEANS AND THE DISPLAY OF COMMON QUALITIES. THEY CAN MOSTLY BE SUMMED UP IN THESE TWO CONCEPTS – COMMON SENSE AND PERSISTENCE.” (OWEN FELTHAM)
- “PERSISTENCE IS A GREAT QUALITY FOR SUCCESS. IF YOU KNOCK ON THE DOOR LONG ENOUGH AND LOUD ENOUGH, YOU CAN BE SURE THAT SOMEONE WILL ANSWER.” (HENRY WADSWORTH LONGFELLOW)
