Cleanse negative energy? Have you ever felt as if something is suffocating you, stifling you, not giving you peace? And then you wished to jump out of your skin and start everything from the beginning. Of course, jumping out of your skin is not possible (unless you’re a snake), but cleansing negative energy from yourself and the space where you spend a lot of time is very much possible.
If you’re a more sensitive person, you absorb much more energy from your surroundings. However, it’s important to understand that along with positive energy, there’s also a lot of negative energy in our environment, which can become a significant problem. If negative energy constantly surrounds us, it’s logical to conclude it will be within us as well. Therefore, to be cleaner inside, we need to live in a space with cleaner energy. And for that energy to be as positive and good as possible, it needs to be regularly maintained or kept clean. Here’s how we can do this through small rituals we regularly practice (for example, once a week). Remember – everything is energy. If the energy around us is clean, we will also be cleaner inside!
Air out the space, let the sun in
The energy of nature is incredible, and its beneficial effects can be immediately felt. Open the windows wide, breathe in the fresh air, let the sun caress your face. With each breath, imagine positive energy entering you, and with each exhale, imagine negative energy leaving you. Air out the spaces you spend a lot of time in as much as possible and allow the rays of light to enter.
Purify with sage
The ancient Indians considered sage the main purifier and often burned its leaves, fanning the smoke throughout the room they wanted to cleanse. We can do the same – light dry sage and gently let its smoke move through the room we wish to cleanse. It’s also important to open the windows so that the negative energy can exit.
Cleanse with Salt
There are two ways to cleanse a space of negative energy using salt. An excellent method is using a salt lamp. Its light is soothing, and its crystals clean the space; it’s even proven to improve immunity.
Another method to protect and cleanse a space from negative energy using salt is to lay a light trail of salt on the outside of windows, doors, and generally on the outside of the house – this prevents the entry of negative energy into the home.
Healing bath
A warm bath can also drive away negative energy, and you’ll feel great after it. A good combination for banishing negative energy includes a bit of baking soda, some sea salt, a few drops of lavender oil, and – good intentions. Mix all these in warm water and enjoy for at least fifteen minutes, but forty is best. This bath is excellent if you’re feeling down and think you’ve picked up a lot of negative energy somewhere.
Cleanse with Blessed water spray
Blessed water can be obtained in church, or you can make it at home, and you can use it whether you’re a religious person or not because you’ll quickly feel its beneficial effect. You can make it yourself by placing clean water in a container of your choice and leaving it in the sun to absorb energy for several hours. Then, you can add a few drops of essential oil as desired place your hands over the water and pray. After this, you’ve made blessed water that you can put in a spray bottle and use to cleanse rooms, but also yourself when you feel a surge of negative energy.
